An independent way to learn the NSW road rules
NSW Learner is a study site and an iPhone app for the NSW car driver knowledge test, made by MomentumLab AI Pty Ltd in Sydney.
Where the content comes from
Every lesson, question and explanation is written by the NSW Learner team from the law itself, mainly the Road Rules 2014 (NSW), with licensing facts checked against the NSW Government's own pages. Each explanation names the rule it comes from, so you can check it and learn the reason, not just the answer.
We do not copy the NSW Road User Handbook or any government text or image. Every road sign on the site and in the app is drawn by us in our own vector geometry, following the standard shapes and colours.
Who we are not
NSW Learner is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Transport for NSW or Service NSW. To book or sit the real test, go to Service NSW.
How it is paid for
The site is free to start and the app is free to download. Pro unlocks every topic, every question and unlimited mock exams, and it is sold in two places, each bought separately: NSW Learner Pro on this website for A$14.99 one-time, and Pro inside the app through Apple. There are no ads and no subscription. See what Pro adds on the web.

Rules change and we would rather know. Email [email protected] with the page and the rule, and we will check it against the legislation and fix it.
