Learn all nineteen topics in the test, see 159 road signs and road scenes drawn and explained, and practise with 1,177 questions that name the rule behind each answer. Then sit a mock exam laid out like the real thing.
The driver knowledge test is the road rules test you pass to get a NSW learner licence. Sat in person, it has 45 multiple choice questions with three options each, in two sections: 15 general knowledge, where you need 12 right, and 30 road safety, where you need 29 right. You must pass both, and there is no time limit.
Pick an answer. You see straight away whether it is right, why, and which road rule it comes from. That is how every question on this site and in the app works.
You are on the road that ends at a T-intersection with no signs. Who must give way?
Right. Not quite. The answer is B.
At a T-intersection the driver on the road that ends gives way to traffic on the through road.

What the test covers
All nineteen topics in the NSW DKT, one page each

General Knowledge 15 questions in the test, 12 to pass · 532 to practise
Regulatory signs you must obey, warning signs that tell you what is ahead, railway crossings, traffic lights and markings, top-down scenes of the give way situations that trip people up, and the driver's views the test shows you.
The app takes the same content further: short lessons, drills that bring back what you got wrong, and a mock exam that keeps answers hidden until the end, like the real test.

Are these the real DKT questions?
