Warning sign · Road layout
A roundabout is ahead, and traffic already in it has priority.
What it means
Three curved arrows chase each other around a circle in a clockwise direction, the way traffic flows around NSW roundabouts. The sign gives you time to pick your lane and signal before you arrive. When you reach the roundabout you give way to every vehicle already circulating in it, cyclists included, and you drive to the left of the centre island.
Choose your lane early: left to turn left, right to turn right.
Signal left for a left turn, or right if you are turning right.
Give way to anyone already in the roundabout before you enter.
