NSW Learner is a study aid. Using the site or the app means you accept these terms.
A study aid, not the law
We write carefully from the NSW road rules and check our facts, but the site and app are not legal advice and not a government service. The law and Service NSW's requirements are what count, and they can change. If anything here differs from the current rules, the rules win.
Independent
NSW Learner is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Transport for NSW or Service NSW. Passing our practice tests does not mean you will pass the real test.
The app and Pro in the app
- The app is free to download. Pro in the app is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase sold through the App Store. It is not a subscription.
- Apple's terms govern that purchase, including refunds, which you request from Apple.
- The app has no account. Restore Purchases uses your Apple account.
NSW Learner Pro on the web
- NSW Learner Pro on this website is a one-time purchase of A$14.99, paid by card through Stripe, our payment provider. It is not a subscription and never renews.
- Apple is not involved. Pro on the web and Pro in the app are separate purchases, and one does not unlock the other.
- Your account is the email address you paid with. Sign in with that address on any device to use Pro.
- Refunds: ask within 14 days of purchase and we refund it in full. Email [email protected] from the address you paid with. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of this policy.
- What the account keeps, and the one cookie it uses, are set out in the privacy policy.

The questions, lessons, explanations and sign drawings are written and drawn by MomentumLab AI Pty Ltd. You are welcome to use them for your own study. Please do not copy them into another product or site.

NSW Learner is also an iPhone app, built on the same lessons and questions as this site. Short lessons for every topic, drills that bring back what you got wrong, and a mock exam in the test's layout, in your pocket and working without a signal.

- Private the app needs no account, works offline and keeps your progress on your phone
- Pro comes two ways, each bought separately. NSW Learner Pro on this website is A$14.99 one-time and works in any browser you sign in on. The app has its own Pro, bought inside the app through Apple. One does not unlock the other.
