A green light does not let you in while light rail is still crossing; hold until it has completely cleared.

What it means
Waiting on green while light rail crosses: what is the rule?
Tracks run straight across the middle of a crossroad, and a long white light rail vehicle with a red stripe is passing over them. The yellow car waits at its stop line beside a traffic light showing green. A faint dashed arrow leading into the intersection carries a red cross. Until the last carriage has gone, there is no room to go, whatever colour your light is showing.
What to do
1
Stay behind the stop line while any part of the vehicle is in the intersection.
2
Watch the rear carriage go past before you move.
3
Never edge in close behind it.
