What it means
A fire engine behind you while you wait to turn right: what is the rule?
The yellow car has moved into a crossroad under a green light and is signalling right, with a disc marked 2. Right behind it, a red fire engine with a ladder on its roof sends out red siren waves and carries disc 1. The yellow path waits to curve right into the cross street. Only once the fire engine is through does the yellow car make its turn.
What to do
1
Stay where you are and do not rush the turn.
2
Let the fire engine get past you safely.
3
Check for oncoming traffic again, then complete your right turn.
