What does the trucks ahead sign mean in NSW?

A black rigid truck, side on and facing right, with a box body, a cab and three wheels, sits on our yellow diamond. It warns that heavy vehicles may be turning onto the road or crossing it ahead, perhaps at a quarry or a depot gate. Loaded trucks pull out slowly, take up a lot of road, and need a long distance to stop.

Ease off as you near the gate or entry.
2
Watch for trucks moving out slowly or waiting to turn.

Leave plenty of room, and be ready to stop for one entering.
