What it means
In the middle of a crossroad a white car has run into the side of the yellow car, marked by a red and yellow impact star with bits of debris scattered on the road. Both cars show their hazard lights. Whoever caused it, each driver now has the same duty: stay at the scene, deal with any danger and injury, and give the others the details they need to follow up.
Stop straight away and check for danger such as traffic, fuel or fire.
Call 000 if anyone is hurt and help the injured, moving them only if they are in immediate danger.
Give your name, address, the registration and the owner's details if the car is not yours.
