Regulatory sign · Turns and direction
Turning left is banned at this point.
What it means
The black arrow rises from the bottom of the ring and bends sharply to the left, then the red stroke slashes through it. That combination bans a left turn into the street where the sign stands. It is used where a left turn would cut across a busy footpath crossing, a bus stop or a lane that is too tight, and it can carry a plate limiting it to certain times.
Continue straight and plan another way into the street you wanted.
Read any time plate beneath it, since some bans run only in peak hours.
Pick your lane early so you are not tempted to turn at the last second.
